The Alberta Stick Curling Championships will be hosted by the St. Albert Curling Club, Feb 14-16, 2020. The St. Albert Curling Club has previously hosted this prestigious event in 2017. The event with be limited to the first 24 registered teams. Entry fee for this event is $160/team and includes five round robin games and Saturday night banquet.
The top two teams in each of the 4 pools will qualify for the championship single knockout event and the remaining teams will be placed into the consolation event. The event will be a pay-as-you-win.
Please note that this is an Open event – any combination of gender. The Curling I/O system is using the Open Doubles category to ensure only two members of the team are requested.
The 2019 Alberta Stick Championship will now become the 2019 Alberta Christenson Communities Stick Championship. A sponsorship agreement is now in place and shown in the photo is Kendra Kozakewich, Marketing Coordinator of Christenson Communities and Randy Olson, President of the Alberta Stick Curling Association.
